Release Notes

New Features Added:

-Added custom remotes for TiVo, Motorola and Scientific Atlanta devices.
-Last known IP and port is saved on successful connection through the Finder. This is used as the backup connection method should one of the subsequent address resolutions through the Finder fail.
-Added "extra addresses" for TiVo and ReplayTV users who own multiple devices.

Changes:

-Set maximum allowed video bitrate to 1.4Mbps in manual encode options
-Help opens up automatically on Remote Viewing activation test failure.
-Improvements in the View menu layout.
-Context (right mouse click) menu for video window is now View submenu on the main menu.
-Improved error reporting on connection failures.
-Encrypt passwords in user profile XML file.
-Revised User Guide.

Fixes:

-Context (right mouse click) menu now shows appropriate keyboard shortcuts.
-Setup Wizard enters control mode during channel scan, and exit control mode when done.
-Pushing "alt" without a letter has no effect.
-Sling Wizard misreports IP conflict when Slingbox is on a wireless bridge.
-When not connected, SlingPlayer still shows incorrect info (says Connected...or connecting...).
-SlingPlayer freezes when MediaPlayer plays a video. This occurs on Win2k system that has DirectX version 9b and lower. NOTE- On W2K SlingPlayer will refuse to work without DX9C.
-Fixed many problems where SlingPlayer stuck at "Starting Stream..."
