I'm sure some of you have already seen, or even used, Slingview, but this article is for those of you who haven't. :)

As of current SlingPlayer version (1.05x beta and 1.04x), it wasn't possible to put SlingPlayer into a small window mode. I use a laptop and am a computer science student who loves to watch TV :), but I couldn't do work at the same time due to needing to have several workspaces open, and SlingPlayer takes up a lot of space. So, I set out to make an application which allows me to put the SlingPlayer in a smaller window - the result is Slingview.
