It may not sound like much of a difference, but it’s pretty easy to tell when you’re streaming with a Tuner, AV, or PRO model. The new family of slingboxes have 2 x the number of pixes as the original when each are ran at their highest quality settings. In the end, the picture is clearer, more detailed, and sharper than ever with the new Slingboxes.

The original Slingbox holds its own with images lacking fine details, but it’s no match for the additional resolution and speed of the newer Slingboxes. In the food network screen capture, check out the difference in high detail images like the cutlery and basket on the countertop. You'll see less jagged edges, more detail and definition, and less noise.
