I recently opened up the SBPRO to take a look inside and at the request of Bounderboy, I'm posting some pictures that might interest you.

Opening the device is pretty easy. Two Screws hold the case together on the the underside of the device. After removing the screws, the case simply pops off.

Inside the case is a single circuit board with a handful of major chips. I'm listing the chip ID's below in case anyone can specifically identify their functions.
