Can I hook two tv's up to one sling box. I travel and will be watching on my laptop and my son is in the army and is currently stationed in Tunisa. I will hook it up in Pittsburgh PA Can we both use Sling box ?

How do I obtain the current version of the Slingbox PRO firmware?
You can obtain the latest firmware for your Slingbox PRO by downloading the latest version of the SlingPlayer software. SlingPlayer versions prior to 2.0 include the firmware as part of the download. SlingPlayer software versions 2.0 and greater check for firmware updates over the web automatically. You can download the latest SlingPlayer software for your system here.
Can I use a different IR control cable than what's packaged?
Yes, you can use a different IR control cable with the Slingbox. You may need to purchase a 1/8" to 3/32" adapter to fit in the IR port on the Slingbox.
Why am I only getting one channel of audio?
Check audio input cables on the back of the Slingbox, and make sure your computer is set to output sound to both the left and the right speakers.
Does the Slingbox PRO work with the High Definition devices?
Yes, but the output to the Slingbox must be in the 480i format if connecting to the composite, S-video, or RF connection. If connecting through the optional HD Connect adapter, the input format can be 480i, 480p, 720p, or 1080i. Consult your device manual for instructions on how to do this.
What do the lights on the Slingbox PRO mean?
The far right LEDs indicate network and power status. The center LED indicates if the Slingbox is streaming video.
What video signals can I input into the Slingbox PRO?
The Slingbox PRO can accept NTSC signals through composite, S-Video, and RF connections. With the optional HD Connect adapter, the Slingbox PRO can also accept HD component video signals in the 480p, 720p, and 1080i formats.
Why is the Slingbox PRO not controlling my device?
Make sure that the IR cable is plugged all the way in to the IR port on the back of the Slingbox PRO, and that the IR emitter is properly located above the IR receiver on your device. If so, check your control setup in the SlingPlayer software.
How many devices can I plug into the Slingbox PRO?
The Slingbox PRO can support up to 4 devices when coupled with the optional HD Connect adapter. One through composite, one through, S-Video, one through RF, and one through the HD Connect.
Can I plug in my device to the Slingbox PRO using an HDMI cable?
No. While the HD input on the back of the Slingbox PRO looks like an HDMI port, it is exclusively reserved for the HD Connect adapter which is available for purchase seperately.
How do I factory reset my Slingbox?
Press the reset button on the back of the Slingbox for five seconds. The reboot process will take 30 seconds to 1 minute. Doing so may reset the Slingbox to an earlier firmware version, so you may need to reinstall any upgrades.
How do I update the Slingbox's firmware?
While on your home network, select "Edit Properties" in the Slingbox directory. Click the "Slingbox Configuration" tab, and select "Update Slingbox Firmware" at the bottom. Follow the on-screen directions. For SlingPlayer 2.0 users, launch the Setup Assistant, then select "Software Update" in the left side menu.
How much does the Slingbox PRO cost?
The Slingbox PRO's suggested retail price is $229.
How much does the HD Connect accessory cost?
The HD Connect's suggested retail price is $49.
How will the analog to digital transition in the United States affect my Slingbox PRO?
US residents who rely on terrestrial (over-the-air) broadcast television will no longer be able to receive television stations on February 17, 2009 using the built-in NTSC tuner with their Slingbox PRO. In order to continue using the Slingbox PRO with over the air signals, Slingbox PRO owners will need to purchase and connect the Slingbox to a seperate digital to analog DTV tuner box.
Those who rely on basic cable service for TV delivery will need to contact their cable provider to find out if and when the DTV transition will affect them.

Well, yes and no...
You can both use the same SlingBox but not at the same time. Only one login is supported. Depending on where you travel this may still work taking into account the time difference between the two of you.

i want to watch my tv while someone else is using the slingbox connected to this t.v. but when i change channels on the slingbox, the channels on my tv change too. how can we watch two different channels????

surely slingbox doesn't support watching 2 channel from the same source
coz it capture its output video instead of controling source capture card

Does any one have a remote custom code for a JVC DR-MV100B? I just brought it an it was manufactured in September 2008 and not yet supported by SLing Box.

Does any one have a remote custom code for a ACL STB8808? I just brought SLing Box Pro and find the Slingplayer can not work with STB8808 remote. Many thanks.

I am having problems with one of my Slingbox remotes, its newly installed and works at home but does not work away, I have not had this problem before, anyone have a tip for this

I have installed the latest software for my Slingbox Pro on my iMac and am getting good video, but the audio is quite low in volume with alot of distortion? I have checked the audio input cables on the back of the slingbox and cable box and are all okay. I had the slingbox previously setup on my PC computer and it worked great. Now while trying to use this on my iMac, I am getting poor audio quality. Please advise how I can fix this either on the slingbox or on the iMac. Thanks!
