So you got yourself a new Slingbox and found out that your remote or device is not listed in the setup? Now what do you do?

Actually there are several things you can do.

First of all you need to report it to Sling Media so they know about it. You can report it here on their site. Just go to http://support.slingmedia.com/get/KB-005163.html and answer their survey.

Now go to the Sling Community Control Junkies groups by clicking on the Groups tab above, then click on the Control Junklies Custom Creation Group. Take a moment and subscribe to this group, so you get notifyed abour new posts.

The first thing you will notice is a link that says "This Group Has xxx Downloads [View List]" If you click on the list you will see what is available for you to download from the SlingCommunity. Browse the list and see if the remote file you need is available. If so, download it and then read this post on how to use it.
