Sling Media has confirmed their SlingPlayer Mobile for Palm OS software, which allows Slingbox owners to watch and control their home television programming on compatible 3G Palm devices, is fully compatible with the new bargain Palm Centro smartphone for Sprint.

Sling Media's Dave Zatz has said the SlingPlayer Mobile for Palm OS software may warn Centro users that they're installing the software on an incompatible device, but that warning should be corrected in the near future.

All together, the Slingbox+SlingPlayer Mobile+Centro combination is an affordable, all encompassing package to take you from "TV at home" to "TV anywhere."
