I went to BB settings and set to WI-FI. I log in and then it retrieves SB's. It tries toi connect but I get the message "Slingplayer cannot connect to your Slingbox. Please check the internet connection on your phone and try again" The internet connection is working because I can browse. BTW, Thanks for your help and more thanks for getting the BBplayer out. I have been waiting over a year. A litlle more work and I'll be there!OK, it sounds like you might be experiencing the loopback issue a number of others have had - your router is blocking loopback connections. There are a few threads in the BlackBerry forum under the Forums here that explain it in detail and how to determine if that is really the issue.I went back and read the threads. I'm sorry, but I don't understand what I should do. I went into the router a Linksys WRT54GL and can't find anything referencing loopback. I'm lost. Again it the BBSPL works great on mobile network, but won't on local WI-FI. It goes through the process. It locates the WI-Fi then tries to connect and nothing. The only way I have been able to get my SPM to work on my local network is to enter the IP address of the Slingbox.TheT54GLRT54GL
Found it! It works! Finally!
