- Additional setting to optimize low bandwidth streaming
- Additional convenience features, e.g. current connection type indicator, volume level indicator, keypad lock, in addition to general UI improvement
- Enhanced aspect ratio/ display mode support
- Audio track selection if available as part of the channel program

Since CDMA Blackberrys running "official" 4.5.0.135 appear to work, Sling needs to update its list of supported devices, or at least not reject requests for download from these devices.
I'm having similar fun with my Blackberry Bold 9000. It works fine over WiFi when I'm not at home, but the WiFi at home on the same network as my SlingBox classic just will not connect.
A laptop on the same WiFi connection works perfectly. Sling Media suggest installing Slingplayer 2, but that is not yet available in the UK.
Good job I haven't paid for Slingplayer Mobile.
hey sling world, I can't download player to my blackberry I have curve, sling player is classic first generation. I get error code 503 server unable to handle my request due to temporary overloading this has been on since lauch date. help me figure this out
i 8830 the world edition from sprint, are you coming out software for my phone?
I have this working on the 8830 WE on verizon. If you download the latest OS you can get it for pretty much any carrier.
Here is how I did it:
Please say a native BB Storm version is in the works
The way im running it now in compatibility mode stand up goofy with the key board on screen doesnt do Sling or the Storm justice.
