Did you install the new software on your home pc as well?? If so, when you run the set-up, there is a box that needs to be checked that says something like "allow remote connections" That may be the problem????
I'm overseas & I updated the software. But when I tried to connect to it asked for a password. I originally did not have a PW set up.
I have already had someone in my home reset the slingbox -- and now I get an error message saying not connected. Can I resolve this remotely? Or, do I need to be home on the network to reconfigure the box & my notebook? If I re-install my original sfwr version on my ntbk will that resolve it? Please Help.
