I believe the H10 uses the same code as the D10, which is SAT/1377.
This code will only work on Slingboxes running IR Blaster version 2.1 If your box uses 2.0, return it to Sling for an upgrade to 2.1

I am a new sling user and want to know if there is a built in code in sling for the directv high definition H10 receiver and if not, how do i add the code.??

You'll have to get in touch with Sling customer service for an answer to that one.

I know that early on around first release timeframe there was a known issue with DirecTV D10. Is that resolved by now ?

The D10, D11 and R15 from DirecTV can be operated using the Sat1377 remote on the production version of Slingplayer. Not all buttons are available, but you can access the missing items through menus.

The beta version has a DirecTV remote in it, but it has errors that make it very hard to use. I would hold off on the beta until those are fixed. Sling is aware of the issues and is working on them.
