i download the RM file & the RDF(Slingbox with UEI JU Chip).

That means you either didn't follow step #3 and download the RDFs, or you didn't tell RM where to find them when you fired it up.

RemoteMaster Executable Jar File 373 KB Icon and description display on my c:\drive, yet, when double clicking, a pop up "no rdf files found". Following step 4 - where the document reads "Now to worry, just press the OK button, and RM will display a file dialog for you to specify where you've placed the RDFs. It defaults to the rdf subdirectory in the directory you installed RM. Just navigate to the folder in which you've placed the RDFs and press the Open button." Well, it defaulted to the correct directy, but the directory is void of any rdf files. At this point, I'm stuck. Please advise of any nuances or subtleties I am missing. thanks!

now i'm looking 4 (CENTRONICS DS3300 code)?
help pls

November 18, 2005 2:27 PM

I couldn't even find out what a CENTRONICS DS3300 is by doing a Google search. I'm assuming it's either a SAT box or a DVD player, am I close? I'm guessing also that it's extremely rare, which means you're not going to find a code for it anywhere.

And just FYI, it pays to read the README threads before posting code search requests at hifi-remote.com

can you help me again pls
thank you so much

Even a search on the Dish Network web site didn't find "CENTRONICS", are you sure you're spelling it correctly. Given the poor spelling in the rest of your post I felt I had to ask.

I have a Samsung DVD/VCR Combo model DVD-V5600 and it works "almost" with the code "Misc/Samsung/Other/Code3"

I have tried to upgrade using "The Robman" process using other Samsung (JP1) codes & RM but still can't find the correct code.

I want to "tweek" the Slingbox "Samsung Code3" with RM but where do I find the file in Slingplayer to input to RM. Can someone help please?

Hate to say it, but you can't get to the file that the SlingPlayer uses and then tweak it. You would need to start with something on JP1 and then tweak it, if needed, from there.

The individual file you would need is compressed into a single file, somewhat like WinZip does, and we are not privy to those files.
