Another quickie......I have the choice of high speed internet at my condo which I will use ONLY for Slingbox feed (coz I live in UK and won't have anything else hooked up to it)I can get 384Kbps up or 768Kbps up......at a difference of $17 per month. Will I get a MUCH better Slingbox picture if I spend the extra?? Or is 384 enough?

Go with the 768! I have Comcast 768kbps upload, and I receive video at work at around 650-700.

I get 360Kbps from the outside and am pretty good but I can't view full screen like at home. I'd go for the increased speed if you can.

For those streaming at 768Kbps from work...do you own the office? I'd be concerned about streaming that much data all day long (in fear of showing up as the biggest "surfer" at work). Maybe I'm too uptight.

I'd be interested to know the answer from anyone who has had both also.    I currently have 384, wondering if it's worth $20 a month for 768.    Is it really that much better?

I'm actually considering the next time I'm in the states (where my slingbox is) getting on the local network and seeing if I can limit it to 384 and 768 locally through router configs, and testing it, but if I can just get an answer here, I can call the cable company and get the upgrade (all they do is flip a switch).
