I recently started having a strange problem with my Slingbox. When I now use the SlingPlayer remote to change channels the status bar shows '1 pending' and then switches to 'streaming' and then switches to 'optimizing'. During the process the video freezes but the audio continues to play. To get the video to start streaming again I have to hit another button on the remote (like the info button).

I can always reproduce the problem by clicking on the "Guide" button on the remote. The screen freezes but the audio continues. If I click the "info" button then the video starts streaming correctly again... but of course I am no longer in the guide where I wanted to be.

I am using the Motorola 6412 cable box with the SlingBox.
