Well, even if we are able to decode the Harmony files, you would need to get yourself up to speed with JP1 in order to know how to load the info back into the Slingbox:

So, if you are prepared to do your part, I'll take a look at the Harmony files. Could you download the relevant files and then post them here for me to look at:

It might be a good idea to also include the data for a Toshiba TV, just so I can compare the format with one that I know.

I have some quipment I want to control with my slingbox remote. Unfortunately codes are not available for it anywhere on the sites discussed in this forum.
I have a Logitech Harmony universal remote control however that has no trouble locating codes for my devices.
Once the remote is plugged into your computer, the Logitech software starts automatically and you are taken to the Logitech web site where you set up your account and then specify the brand and model of each of your components. Then the Logitech software automatically retrieves the specific codes for each of your devices from its vast remote code database, and prepares these codes for download into your remote.
When no codes are readily available for your components the Logitech Harmony remote can learn commands from your device. Codes are stored on the website so other users can download them.
Codes can also be downloaded to disk and upon opening the file with a text editor, its a mix of XML and binary code. I'd be keen to learn if there is anyway that I could derive codes from the file for use with my slingbox. Any ideas out there?
