Is there a Directivo code out there that will work with SB? I've tried all the codes under "Other" and nothing works.
Thanks,
JMan

I've read on other forums that S1142 code should work, but it does nothing. I know that the IR blaster is connected and working, as I can change the remote to DirectTV Sony Receiver and the controls work, but I have no Tivo functions.

The SAT/1142 code is for the Philips DTV boxes, the Sony boxes use SAT/0639

Thanks Robman.. I was just hoping to get the nice Tivo remote interface, but I guess that is not going to happen with the Sat-T60. All controls work find with the code S0639.
Thanks again..

You probably could get the Tivo remote interface if you were to edit the SBAV.cfg file. I would tell you how to do it, but I haven't bothered with that side of things myself yet, so I don't have a step by step to give you.

The clue would be to see how the V0618 or S1142 codes are handled and try and copy them.

Save a copy of the SBAV.cfg file before you start so you can undo any damage that you do.

I just downloaded the new Beta Version 1.0.5.127 up on the site. I select "DVR (Digital Video Recorder)" then "TiVo (DirecTV)" then "Other" then entered alternative code "S0639" and my SAT-T60 works with the TIVO Interface!!! Thanks guyz.

Now if I could only get my hands on the beta player for Windows Pocket PC... that would be sweet...

Good luck,

I have two Sony SAT-60's sitting on top of eachother, one with remote code 1 and one with remote code 2. Do you folks know if this SO639 code corresponds to code 0 (which would control all SAT-60's at once) or one of the other codes? Is there anyone out there successfully using multiple T-60's with a slingbox?

OK, It's up and running. SO639 corresponds to Sony Remote Code #1. It does not do anything for those devices coded to #2 or #3 (perhaps there will be a code out there for them at some point). Right now SO639 is controlling my Tivo #1 just fine, and I have the 2nd tivo plugged into the coax port so I can watch it fine (but someone needs to be home to control it). If anyone from Sling needs an extra remote sent to them to add the new codes, just let me know...

I have the same problem. There is a code for the SAT-T60 remote code 1 but not for remote code 2. Has anyone found a code that works on the T60 remote code 2? I have two right on top of each other and they both can't use code 1.

is there any way to request this feature, or even upload the codes? I know the codes are floating out there on the Internet somewhere (maybe remotecentral.com).

Works for me too but I wish it had the Silver Sony remote interface. And Yes, My T60 is chugging along fine! A little slower than normal sometimes but works great!

I just got my Slingbox PRO today and hooked it up to my Sony SAT-T60 in the bedroom.  I was actually surprised at how quickly I was able to hook everything up, including the SlingLink, and get a picture on my computer downstairs.  Everything worked within 5 minutes right out of the box.....except controlling the SAT-T60!!!

I have tried just about everything including selecting "DVR (Digital Video Recorder)" then "TiVo (DirecTV)" then "Other" and entering alternative code "S0639".  I am still unable to control the box.  I unplugged and replugged the IR cable from the Slingbox, I repositioned the 2 IR bulbs in front of the box about a half inch away from the black glass where the IR reciever is located.  What else can I do? It says I'm on version 1.4.0.206 of SlingPlayer....could that be the problem? Please help.  Thanks.

What you have done should have worked, but they have added the SAT-T60 explicitly as well.

Choose "Satellite or Free To-Air Receiver",

Choose "Sony",

Choose Sat-T60.

Then once you are connected to your Slingbox, then pull down the Slingbox Menu, choose Remote Control, and make sure you have selected "Tivo Remote" rather than "Set-top Box Remote Basic".

I just went through these steps myself to confirm, and it worked fine.  Keep in mind that this will only work with Sat-T60's configured with remote control code #1.  To make sure that your Tivo is using remote control #1, go to the System Info menu on your Tivo, hold the Tivo & pause buttons down on your remote until the led stays lit, press the "1" key (the led will blink 4 times), then press any key while the remote is aimed at the tivo (and you are on the System Info menu).  This will have set both your remote, and yiour tivo, to remote code #1.

aciurczak, thank you very much for your help.  Your bottom paragraph is what helped the most.  Turns out my remote was on Code 2 and I had to change it to Code 1.  But, instead of "Play" and "Pause" I had to press the Tivo button and "Pause" at the same time during the code changing process.  Other than that, your advice worked perfectly and I'm up and running.  Thanks again!  This thing rocks!
