But it still won't connect. I have viewed slingplayer and it worked in my network, in wifi hotspots and in other networks. Any reccomendations? It says I am unable to connect to slingbox finder.

im having the same problem i got all my proxy information from work but i justcant get it to work i tried everything tons of different ports etc it works everywhere just not work.

What ports have you tried.  

I have a proxy at work but it does not block my slingbox.  Have you tried port 443 - this a SSL port and is normally left open.
