I cannot get thru setup because I get this error:
"You are not able to watch slingbox. Someone else is currently watching it. Thier computer info is: address (null) account (null)." I am sure no one else is watch slingbox in my house, because I have just installed it. I have updated the software to the current beta version. I am not able to see a picture in the preview screen as I setup, but I am positive I have all the connections correct. If anyone can help with this that would be great.

Try resetting the box using the button on the back.

Have a Sansa device or MP3 player, then check out The latest!

Yes, I tried the reset and no luck. So then I uninstalled the slingplayer and reinstalled with the latest release but not the beta version. Now I get this error: "Unable to connect to slingbox. Please check your network, firewall and router settings. Error 0x93200005". I have checked all these settings and the sling shows up in the routing tables. I have tried the slingplayer on two othe computers hard wired and one wireless laptop and they all have the same problem. This is aggrevating! Thanks for help.

Might be a port forwading problem. Check the slingmedia site for port forwarding on your router.

Also tried port fowarding although I would think that would be a problem if I was away from my own home network. I guess I will contact sling support.
