Hello, Slingbox Community.

Ordered my (first?) Slingbox a couple of days ago and now preparing my cabling for the blessed arrival. Just need to verify something that's a little unclear in the manual (specifically the "Important" note on the page entitled "Sharing an Audio/Video source"):

If I want to be able to connect the Slingbox to the Audio + S-Video outputs of my Cable/DVR box (SA Explorer 8300) and *also* be able to use the Slingbox's internal tuner in conjunction with a separate cable feed to its coax input, can I still use the Slingox's Audio/Video outputs to pass the DVR outputs through to the TV?

It's unclear to me whether the note on that page says (a) that the Slingbox A/V outputs are not available at all when something is connected to the coax input (BAD) or merely (b) that the Slingbox A/V outputs cannot be used to convert and forward the RF output of a device connected to the Slingbox via its coax input, i.e. that they can only be used to pass their corresponding A/V inputs through to another device, not to convert RF to baseband (FINE by me!).

Whether I need to buy a couple of A/V splitters depends on your answer, boys and girls. Thanks in advance for the help.

Jacques.
