I'm having trouble getting stereo sound on my Treo. I get sound on the left side but not on the right. Occasionally, a little sound would come through on the right but it is rare. I've ensured that the connections are tight on my Motorola (Comcast) DVR and Slingbox.

I noticed that "Audio Settings" is grayed out but showing "Stereo Low" on the client. Perhaps that is related.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

ETA: The device works fine in stereo using WM10, Audible, and other apps.

You can only change those audio settings while the player isn't running. Verify that you can when the player is stopped..

Do you have a computer that you can check or give someone your finder ID and have them check it?

Your SlingBox came with 2 cables, have you tried the other cable?

Hope this helps,

Ryan

I tried it on another computer and the right side is not coming through well there either.

This says that it is one of the devices (cable box or SlingBox) or your cabling. Have you tried the other cable and/or are you using the RCA outs to a TV or other device to know they're good??

I have to stress that the connector to the SlingBox has to be pushed in much harder than you would expect to get the proper connection...

Well, it was the connection after all I pulled the cables completely out and then put them back in and it works.

I thought at first that my audio problem was due to me using a HD DVR which support told me is not fully supported yet. Since don't have splitters for the audio outlet on the DVR, I'm connecting audio to my TV. This means that my TV must stay on (but can be muted) to get audio.

I'm glad I didn't bring up my HD DVR because it would have send us in the wrong direction.
