I have the same problem. I have the Panasonic DMR-EH50. If I choose a Panasonic DVD player, I can use play DVDs, but not access the DVR functions. If I try setting it up as a Panasonic DVR, none of the codes work.

I have a Panasonic DVR - model number DMRE100H. It is does not work eith any of the IR codes under the DVR section in setup. It does, however, work with the IR codes of a Panasonic DVD player DMRE80H - however when I select this I only get a remote for a DVD player rather than a DVR. How do I set this up so I can ge the DVR remote?
