Hey, Im getting a slingbox as soon as support for Macs come out. (by June 30! :) With my current setup, I won't be able to use a slinglink because i dont have anymore ethernet outs on my modem or router.  I have a relay router very close to where my slingbox will be, therefore, I have strong wireless.  Do you think that the game adapter will suit me well?  Is it stable, fast, relible?

Hi,

If you go to the sling support site and search for "supported bridges" you should find a helpful article. Here's the key content for you:

Wireless bridges

The following wireless bridges have been tested and work well with the Slingbox:

·         NETGEAR WGE111

·         Linksys WET54G

·         Linksys WET54GS5

·         Linksys WGA54G

·         SMC 2870W

·         US Robotics 5430

These wireless bridges do not work reliably with the Slingbox:

·         D-Link DWL-810

·         D-Link DWL-810+

·         D-Link DWL-G820

·         D-Link DGL-3420

·         Linksys WET11

·         Microsoft Xbox MN-740

Hope this helps!

Jeremy

Thanks JT!

Are you the only one here... it seems like there is a lot of people because the forum **seems** active.  Anyway thanks a lot and I am so excited for June 30th (or the day you surprise me, if you do ;))

No, but you happened to post on a day that had tons of activity, so your initial post fell outside of the average view.  After that, if people arent up to speed on your particular topic, they'll tend to defer to others.  And some topics attract a ton of attention, while others unfortunately languish until folks like myself stumble upon them.

You are not alone, my friend. :)
