I have a consistent upload speed of around 700 kbps, as measured using various internet speed tester websites.

When I transfer (upload) files from my home PC to a remote site using Gotomypc remote software, I consistently see a transfer speed of about 700 kbps, as predicted by the speed tester websites.

But, when I stream with S/B between home and the same remote site, even with fast action sports, I never see much more than 400 kbps.

Any explanation as to why this is so?

It would appear to me that S/B should be using all the bandwidth that's available between my home location and my remote location.
