Probably not notice any improvement with S-Video

I finally gave in and picked up a Slingbox last night and it's working fine.
My non-Slingbox AV set up runs through an AV receiver (which handles most of the switching and then feeds the tv).
I currently have the Slingbox connected to the extra RCA composite output on my Directv/Tivo box. The AV receiver is fed via the (only) S-Video output and a digital audio connection.
My question is whether I should hook up the S-Video output to the Slingbox and then use the pass through to feed the AV receiver to the TV? I have two concerns:
(1) Whether the video quality on the passthrough will be ok?
and
(2) Whether I will notice any audio/video synch problems with the S-Video signal being delayed through the Slingbox, but the audio going direct to the AV receiver via the digital audio connection.
Thoughts?
Thanks.

good questions!
(1) you should not be able to notice any reduction in quality whatsoever
(2) no delay will happen as a result of this
(3) yes, there absolutely is an improvement in video quality - whether or not it is always perceptable is up for grabs, but the encoder will do a better job with the extra lines/resolution in the s-video signal.
best,
Jeremy
Thanks Jeremy.
I ended up hooking up the Slingbox to my HDTivo (instead of the regular DTivo). It's S-Video output wasn't being used and the quality improvement is noticeable. Not dramatically, but...

Oh and:
(3) Whether the S-Video feed to the Slingbox will really make a noticeable improvement in quality of the Slingbox's feed.
