Hi: I have been using my Slingbox w/ my old DTiVo (Sony SAT-T60) for almost one year w/o any problems. I recently upgraded  to a new HR10-250. I've tried setting up through the wizzard, but I just get audio and no video. Also, the remote does not seem to control the HR10-250. I have checked the placement of the IR emitter and it seems OK. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had the same problem, it will only work when the resolution of the HR10-250 is set to 480p. This should solve it.

480i... make sure you configure up arrow settings on HR10-250 for easy switching.

this is a hard one to controll, add to that there are no discrete remote address codes, which makes it hard to have TWO devices, two tivos on the same slingbox.

Anyone know how to walk me through changing the resolution on my TIVO HR10-250 to 480p?? I too am getting no video........

Refer to page 102 of the HR10-250 User's Guide to set-up the Up Arrow control for the video format.  I have 1080i and 480i selected.  When I want to use the sling box, I just press the up arrow twice (to select 480i) to enable the composite/s-video outputs to my sling box.

Hi:  Using the up arrow, I can toggle between 1080i and 720p, but I cannot get to 480.  Am I missing something?

You must first customize which formats you want to have the up arrow toggle through.  Navigate through the following menus:

DirecTV Central>Messages & Setup>Settings>Video>Output Format-Up Arrow Setup.

Now select any or all of the formats that you want the up arrow to cycle through.

Thats it.

Thanks bbraune!  I had forgotten about that menu.  I have now added 480i and the slingbox works perfectly :)
