I am using the trial version of Slingplayer Mobile 1.0.0.30 having upgraded from the previous trial of Slingplayer Mobile.

The thing is, everything was working fine with my Sling experience with the previous version. However, after upgrading I have lost my ability to use the remote control function somewhat. It seems that commands are being sent when using the D-pad, however the 'remote control' is greyed out on my menu so I cannot get to the other functions. I've attempted to restart both my phone and slingplayer mobile and no luck.

Does anyone know if some functionality is disabled with this release of the trial? I plan on purchasing a license when my trial has expired, however I want to make sure the remote works before I buy. Thanks.

*Edit: I should also mention I'm using the Motorola Q

**Edit2: I am also using a Scientific Atlanta 8300HD DVR

I'm seeing the exact same thing.

I have a couple of slingboxes, RemoteControl functionality is fine when using my ReplayTV or Comcast DVR, but the problem is with using a DirecTivo box.   The remote control option is greyed out (and Tivo w/o a remote isn't nearly as interesting!).

Did work fine with the Beta, so suspect it's something with support for this DVR in this release.   I'm running on a MotoQ as well.
