Can't help - but I'd like to echo your problem. I've had my Slingbox for about a year (or 2) and finally decided to get this thing up and running. I need, help...I've tried everything below and still can't get my Slingbox to view outside of home.
I recently switched to a Linksys WRT54GS router and that's when the problem started. It seems to connect to the Slingbox, but holds up on "Starting Stream"
I reset the Slingbox and reinstalled the Slingplayer.
I also completed the "port forwarding" directions as indicated on the Sling support website. I set the necessary settings in the Slingbox configuration mode and the router administration settings.
If anybody else knows what to try, PLEASE let me know. Thanks.
