I have the same issue with my ReplayTV on the MAC version of SlingPlayer. Judging from other posts in the forum this is a problem for all Mac users of the Beta.
since everyone probably has a wide array of STBs connected to their
sling, a single thread containing broken keyboard shortcuts might not
be a bad idea.
I have my slingbox connect to my DirecTV HR20-700S. When controlling via Windows the spacebar works as the OK/Select button. On Mac, when I roll the mouse over the OK/Select button it says the keyboard shortcut is spacebar, but the spacebar doesn't actually send a command.

Same here with my TiVo Series 3. It's pretty annoying because I can do pretty much everything else I need with keyboard shortcuts, but I need to bring up the SlingRemote just for that one button.

Same thing for me controlling a series 2 DVR.
Also, SlingPlayer toasts my Expose keyboard shortcuts which is rather irritating!

Yes, I use the PC and Mac versions and the shortcuts that work on the PC just "gong" the system bell on the Mac. Very annoying...
