So, here's the situation...I have this 2wire homeportal 1000HW from when SBC first started handing them out, I stopped using it when I moved in with a friend who had cable internet, and I've recently moved back in with my dad who has sbc.  When I first started using the 2wire at my own place, it was hardwired to my lan card, so I didn't need a wireless card or anything.  When I moved in with my friend, he had a router and all that for use with the cable so I just bought a wireless card.  Now I'm over at dad's, and he had a speedstream modem.  I'm trying to have the 2wire modem hardwired to his computer and use its wireless router for my pc in the bedroom.  Trouble is, I can't seem to find the installation disk, and I can't find any help anywhere.  SBC tech support said they would mail me one (it will be here in 5-10 working days) but I would like to have my comp up and running as soon as possible.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
