Cool! I bet alot of people were watching behind your backs!
Oh, not hard to figure out which laptop is yours. The left one, with the girls.

Our planned flight from La Guardia to Dallas got cancelled yesterday, so we had quite a long wait there. Compliments of a Linksys router in bridge mode, three of use were able to split the cost of the wireless internet. We took a picture of the three laptops lined up, each running Slingplayer (the one on the right is a Mac):

Actually, the middle one is mine.
The only looks we got were the ones directed at the Linksys router and the ethernet cables running from it.
In the future, I'll bring two routers; one to configure as a bridge, and one to connect to that to make my own wireless.

Very cool!
Three Slings working off one airport wireless connection is pretty sweet. Not all that long ago, I would have been stuck reading and listening to a CD player in the airport. Now we can pull stuff like this off. Nice job.
Good for you! I walked on to a flight today at Newark headed to Chicago watching the Bears game pn my Treo while I was getting on the plane and before we had to shut the door. That was cool. Got some stares.

I'm sure you did "sell" some Slingboxes in the airport. I was on an American connection through San Juan from St. Thomas to Newark on a Sunday in November. And like your fellow travelers, I looked over the shoulder of a guy slinging an Eagles game. It was unreal to me. I did a post-purchase survey with Slingmedia and told them I heard about SB on TV. But now that I saw your post, I realized that it was the dude in San Juan who exposed me to SB. I made such a fuss thereafter at home about it that my two lovely daughters gave me a SB Pro for Christmas (We have HDTV.)
So-o-o-o, now I'm back in St. Thomas for a week. I just finished doing some work on my computer in my hotel room -- with "Atlantic City" on HBO Signature docked in the corner of the desktop, and being slinged from my Directv HD TiVo at home, 1500 miles away.
I'll never miss another Giants game in St. Thomas again -- next year, that is :-(
