They only PAL device is a PAL Slingbox Classic - which has a Analogue/Digital tuner built in.

Only UK Based Moderator on Sling Community....Please don't PM me technical questions.

Are all Slingbox Classic supporting PAL? If not, is there a way to buy PAL version of Slingbox Classic in US ?

var, you can use a multisystem VCR with built-in tuner to convert the PAL signal into NTSC signal. Place the NTSC Slingbox AV after the VCR and you should be able to see european tv while you are in the US. You will need to use an AV version of the Slingbox, so that you can control the VCR's tuner.

I've tried to find pal boxes in the US, but no luck so far. The only source that I saw is ebay, with european sellers (mostly from UK), and with a price above 200 euros per box...

If anybody knows a better source, please share!!

just call a PAL store send it to a buddy's house and have them send it to you. but whats the big deal with PAL anyway? you won't get PAL channels in the US unless hooked up in PAL broadcasting zone

Well, the price is above 200 euros because somebody in slingmedia had decided that we rich suckers in the UK will gladly pay for PAL slingbox the same amount in pounds that americans pay for their slingbox in dollars. Hey, the exchange rate is 1:2!

So if you really need PAL slingbox and don't want to use external tuner (vcr, etc) with US slingbox, then you've got to pay extra for this "great priviledge". Don't really think you can find it cheap.

According to this thread. You don't need anything extra. The Slingbox Pro/AV will just take PAL right out of the box.
