What Cox modem do you have? Do you have VOIP? Check your Belkin router and see what its WAN IP is..

Also, Please don't type in all caps...

The cable modem is Scientific-Atlanta model number dpc2100.

Belkin N1 wireless router model number F5d8231-4

 Wan IP 68.106.51.x

Phone services is through cox.  No VOIP.

So your Belkin is getting an outside IP but you're saying on a tracert you see a 10.x.x.x before you see the 68.x.x.x?? I assume you've gone through the port forwarding process and it fails when testing external viewing??

exactly.

If I run a tracert yahoo.com

I hit my gateway and then

10.116.128.1

68.2.12.x then it hits yahoo.com

Slingbox support said that the 10.116.128.1 is the problem.  I can not get any access to my slingbox outside of my network.  I had Slingbox support take over my PC and look at my router and PC setup.  Any ideas?

have you tried hitting 10.116.128.1 in a browser or telnet?

I don't know anything about Cox's phone service but it seems like maybe you've got another device there that's blocking the port needed but passing the outside IP to the other router..

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense..

I did find some info that the DPC2100 has a web interface.  Might be something to that.

You might try connecting your computer directly to the cable modem and see what IP you get, what kind of tracert results you get, etc..
