Hi everyone, i am looking for codes for my sonicview sv-8000. if anyone can help me out i would really appreciate it. thanks

Yes me too.  I just got a sonicview 8000 and running it on a slingbox pro with HD connect.  The hi-def picture is great, but I haven't gotten any ir codes to work.

Since I run pansat I'm not sure if this will work; but worth investigating.

 

Do a search on the site for sonicview. It will pull you to several posts where the IR codes for the 1000 and other sonic view models are posted. Maybe the 8000 uses the same IR codes as the others.....

The same is the case for the pansat 2700 and 3500 for example.....

You can try this one; it's for the 1000, but as I mentioned they may have used the same IR commands for the 8000 (can't verify since I don't possess one).

The 1000 codes didn't work.. If anyone has created the codes for 8000, can you provide link.

I was able to make a SlingBox remote for JU and PL versions.

After d/l, I recommend reading the tutorials on how to use this file.

They're mapped as custom buttons. I'm going to redo this thing and add missing buttons. I'll post the update when I get it tested...

Yes, they dont seem to work.  Sorry about the cross posting.  I ended up here through a google search and didnt realize it logged me in to an 8000 discusion ... Thats why i started a whole new thread on it.

You said to read tutorials on how to use this file after D/L, where do I find this info?
