April 30, 2007 1:19 PM

The playback on a Slingbox Pro is slightly slow and stutters... It was not doing this before. I restarted my macbook pro, my slingbox and my tivo. The audio even stutters when I play just from the antenna. (Although when I am in the configure slingbox mode, the audio doesnt stutter.) The playback is til much better on Windows. Anyone else? Edit: After about three minutes, everything clears up and is in sync. Still the first three minutes suck.

I'm getting 'File not found' too ??? How come some people can download and others can't - is this an ip location thing?

April 30, 2007 3:29 PM

caball, I get the same thing. Stuttering audio that disappears after a couple of minutes. Not so sure on the video quality compared to Windows.

Those of you seeing a File Not Found screen: I've been told the software package may take another 30 minutes or so to show up at all download locations worldwide.

this totally sucks, see thread "New mac version and unsupported devices"

Actually, strike the "working perfectly" part from my previous comment. While I don't have any audio issues, the video quality is greatly reduced from the Beta.

Never had audio stuttering before the update but now seem to get it like a few others at the start.

All, The audio stuttering is ONLY during optimization. It's clean after that. Also, you may need to completely delete ALL SlinPlayer files (preferences, etc) manually and try installing again. I've seen some corruption issues in the past that affect playback of both video and audio. But once the optimization is done, the audio is fine.

Anyone know if SlingPlayer Mac v.1.0 requires an update of firmware?? Can I update firmware from a remote location?? I'm currently running with last Best version, and system backdated.
