I just changed from analog to digital cable and now my sling remote no longer controls the sling box. The remote is non-functional so all I can do is watch whatever channel the home television is on. I have two sling boxes, a sling pro and a sling TM, and the new cable boxes are motorola. One is DCT 700/ MX2 which model is not listed. I have tried everything, rechecked cable, changed code, changed speed, but nothing has worked. Can anyone help?

Worcester, MA, United StatesDid you redo the setup? You'll need to do the setup for the input over again to configure it for the new boxes, and make sure the IR blasters are set correctly.

Not sure I understand re-do the set up. I connected the sling to the new cable box, and went throught the same steps I did for the analog box. The only difference is there was no code for the motorola cable box (DCT700/MX2), so I used "other". Then I tried all the codes but none worked. Yes, the IR blasters are in place.

I have given up. Of course I am very disappointed because now I have two sling boxes which are really worthless. Thanks!
