Just drag it to the trash, and empty trash..

It is not that easy. I did that twice in a row and when I redownloaded the player it was able to find previous settings. I have found some forum threads talking about how trashing does not remove everything. What my problems is somehow when I downloaded the latest version something went wrong and now my player is the only one that does not seam to work with my slingboxes. I need to find all the files in my library and delete them and some of them I can't find. I think they are named other than sling. Thanks for replying.

For anyone who can't get remote access to work and you have narrowed it down your computer by having others try to connect to your sling on their computer on a different network you may have to completely remove your slingplayer and sub files. How to do it 1. Trash your slingplayer from your application folder. 2. Go to your HD. 3. Then click on Users 4. Click your User (user account) 4. Click on the library icon 5. Click on preferences 6. From preferences find sling media file and trash it. That should do.
