hi, i have installed new sling box pro and i have direct tv statellite at my home. I just want to make sure that if my parents are watching some channel on tv than its that possible i can watch different channel on my sling box player. i am new to this sling box pro, so can anyone please help me or advice me with this. and can any one please provide me the IR CODE FOR DIRECT TV.

That question is answered many times if you search.  Basic answer is no.

You shouldn't need an IR code, it's picked by device brand and type during the setup.

If you have a second DirecTV receiver or DVR, you can connect that to your slingbox and view it remotely while someone else is watching the other receiver/DVR.  But you can't both be watching something different on the same receiver.
