Sling has only ever said 'second half of the year' and 'summer', to my knowledge.

All the current info says by the end of the year..

If you watch “sling media universe “I think it is currently the 9^th  of 33 videos  that  Sling Community  has under the video tab.    Nikki interviews Rich V.P. of marking for  Sling at CES.

Now  I know  sling catcher  will be available when it is available  but Let’s  all be clear when an officer  of the company  said it would be  in stores nation wide.

He doesn’t say estimate  he doesn’t say target.. 

Now Sling  has  shut up with no additional information.

I suspect   they are reworking it again.  With windows media extenders hitting the market (and other devices ),  they are retooling the product.  Same reason  I’m guessing  the player 2.0 is not out.    But who knows  because  Sling was babbling away in January  has now shut up.    

I wonder if it's got something to do with the Commonwealth Scientific Research and Industrial Organization v. Buffalo Technology.

They said it was going to be wireless then said you would need to buy add ons for it later. Maybe that are just trying not to get caught up in a patent infringement case.

Except Sling wasn't a public company so they didn't have a share value..

Will it be out before Christmas 08? I've been hearing about sling catcher for over year & a half. Come on guys - say something so we can start saving up.
