It's not supported or condoned by sling media due to the possibility of copyright infringement lawsuits from a variety of vendors including but not limited to cable companies, satellite providers, movie studios, etc........

However,  you could always do a google search for "windows media encoder" and get a little creative with it's use if you so desire....

To answer your question, yes, it's possible but not discussed on this site. Your on the right patch with windows media encoder being in the loop though (cough).

Google is your friend......

what does displaying the output on a webpage mean....and how different is that from accessing your sling box remotely (which I still haven't figured out :( )

You have to use the SlingPlayer software to view a SlingBox.  He wants to view it on a web page instead of having to load the software..  It could also get around the limit of only one person viewing at a time..  (which is Sling's intended limitation)

Slinging Tivo Series 2, Tivo HD, and TW cable from a Pro. Slinging Tivo HD from a Solo, Slinging Humax DRT800, and TW cable from a Classic to Sprint Mogul, AT&T SX66, N62, 8525, and Dell Inspiron 8600 with Sprint EVDO over Windstream DSL.

The EULA stuff about being for personal use, etc..  The SlingBox is intended for one person (can be expanded to family, etc) to be able to watch their content.

mReplay Live allows you to watch a Slingbox in a web browser, but I don't know if it allows more than one user to watch a Slingbox at the same time. I'll check.

Since the Slingbox won't stream to more than one client at a time, no.
