I got the same thing - looks like SPM for Palm OS is a LIVE product!

Good question - Here are the official release notes...

The following features have been added to v1:

• Battery level indicator icon now added to Remote bar
• Ability to add all remote control functions supported by the specific AV device as Favorites shortcuts
• Remote control functions that are not supported by the particular AV device are removed from preset Remote bar to avoid confusion
• Automatic switch into 123 input mode after certain on-screen display functions are executed to enable convenient and immediate navigation on screen. Such on-screen display functions include: Tivo, List, Menu, Program Guide, Settings, Setup, Now Playing, Active, Info/ Display Info, DVD Menu, Setup Menu, Title Menu
• More intuitive arrangement of icons on Remote bar (for DVR device input type only)
• Remote control commands for additional A/V devices incorporated
• Revised Quick Start Tips, and incorporated latest set of keyboard shortcuts under Help screen
• Messaging on availability of newer version of Slingbox firmware

The following issues have been resolved in v1:

• DirecTV “Menu” remote control now functions properly
• Versus channel icon is now sorted in the correct order
• Active video input is now highlighted properly
• Active Slingbox is now marked properly after another Slingbox is deleted from Slingbox Directory

FYI Most of the new features came straight from beta feedback. Nice work!

Got it!

spm.palm.1.0.0.16.prc downloaded straight to my TX and functioning great so far - awesome job Slingmedia!

The added DVR remote commands - no problem found on my SA8300HD.

How does the battry indicator work though? I hit the button and don't see anything.

EDIT: Found it. If I'm showing stats at the top of the screen, it doesn't come up, but without the stats display the batt. percentage shows in the top right where the channel number displays.

NOTE: Slinging on the local wifi still only works with a new sling-directory entry pointing to the local ip address.
