First I had a 700wx and slingbox looked awesome on it.
Just exchanged to a Mogul by HTC. Slingbox looks like crap on it. It's all distorted and pixelated. The only differences I can think of is The moguls screen is bigger, and it uses WM6. The 700wx is WM5. I am using the 30 day trial on it. I was going to buy it, but now I don't think I will.
Anyone with the same experience?

Scott, what is "tcpmp" abbreviated for? and where can I find it on the mogul? DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT IS??? HELP :-(

This whole time I was under the impression that TCPMP was a separate program from Slingplayer Mobile---is this not the case?

tcpmp is a seperate program to run video ill send it to you along with the codecs just reply with your email install it on your mogul and use the settings i posted and have fun i also have all apps and games you can run on the mogul

i was always under the impression that the settings in other media players had no effect on the sling playback since its played back in slingplayer. if there was a way to play slinged video in another player then it would be effected, but the video played in slingplayer is only effected by the slingplayer software and settings.
is that not right?

you are right but someone mentioned the tcpmp on this thread and i was just showing the fix once i get my sling box tomm ill figure the settings for everyone and post what i figured out

you see that is the problem, there aren't settings like that which you can change in slingplayer. there are some settings that you can change, but nothing to the extent as tcmp player. to date i have seen no settings change that can fix the problems with the slingplayer on the mogul and i've read pretty much ever pocket pc forum on the net. same problems exist for everyone. its a problem that needs to be fixed by sling, or via a new rom from htc.

well damn that sucks i just ordered my sling today too i hope its not choppy on mine ill be hours trying to figure something out took me forever to get tcpmp to work flawlessly with youtube

another thing i forgot to ask everyone has everyone who has problems with their slingmobile even upgraded flash player on their phone? if not and you need the upgrade pm me and ill send it out to ya

Are there any updates to the Mogul problem? I was getting ready to trade my 6700 in for the 6800 but from the looks of the thread this may not be the way to go. I'm no hacker and if it doesn't work normally then I have no chance in changing the configs to make it work. Any comments are appreciated.

I definitely thought we'd hear something by now--a little disappointing. Has anyone heard anything? I've now seen Slingbox Mobile on a 755p Treo and WOW, the difference is quite startling.

I'm hoping they come with a fix soon myself. I have been monitoring this thread hoping a fix would be availible by now. I have been running the Slingbox Pro on my Mogul for about 4 weeks now and the phone would be perfect if I could just get rid of the choppy picture and laggy sound.

Dave Zatz of Sling Media (see early comments in this thread) did reply to an email that I sent to him. He said that they were still working on the problem but gave no other details.

I just bought a SlingBox AV and I'm having issues with choppiness and sync like others. I hope SlingMedia or HTC is able to do something about this.
