Sling Media is giving away a bunch of Slingbox Classics autographed by baseball great Tony La Russa, and it's pretty easy to win. If you're a Slingbox owner, post a short video of you using your Slingbox to any video sharing site, social network, or personal web page, then e-mail the link to Slingshots@echosports.com.

Share your video with the SlingCommunity by posting a link to your video below. YouTube videos can be embedded right into your post by clicking the YouTube button in the toolbar, and adding your TouTube video code (only the code, not the whole embed link) into the box, and post. It's that easy.

Just for fun, we created a new commercial. Seems the higher ups at slingbox like commercials that show users confusing people because they are watching a Slngbox.

So how's this?

When asking for setup help please include whether you are using a PC or Mac and

if you are using the Standalone Slingplayer or the web based setup program.

Something did not work with your link - it keeps flipping between loading and replay - but there is no video.

Strange here, under IE6 and Firefox it works fine. (shrug)

Though not baseball related, every NASCAR race is an all-star event. Here I am enjoying post-race coverage via slingbox while tailgating after the race.

I would be interested in knowing how many entries there were.

Certainly, there were not 75 entries posted here - but that was not a requirement. I helped several student employees at my wife's work enter (i.e. I had a video camera) - but I don't think any of them submitted their entries here.

The contest ended 7/21/07 and the winners were to be selected on or about 7/27/07, according to the rules.

We are currently in the midst of our fulfillment process for all the winners and I noticed that we are missing your name, mailing address, and phone number (for shipping purposed). Can you please provide that info so we can send you your Slingbox Classic signed by Tony La Russa? Thanks again for your entry! We will be sure to get your prize in the mail as soon as we have your missing information.

So perhaps they are not contacting winners via email and if we won and sent them all of the information in the original submission, we won't hear from them until UPS arrives at our doorstep? Fingers crossed.
