I just bought a Slingbox Pro and I am having the most friggin trouble with it. I hooked everything up correctly step by step as it explains to me but when I try to open the Slingpro option it says NO SLINGBOX FOUND ON YOUR HOME NETWORK. I have the DI-624 wireless router that works fine with my Xbox 360. Please anyone could help with this frustrating issue?Cry

and are you hard wired to the dlink 624, or hooked up via a wireless connection to it?

If wired, do you have the mac address filter on in your dlink router's configurations settings (if so disable it tuntil you get it added and working (at which time you can add it to the filter list and renable it).

If wireless then you don't have that connection setup correctly either.

Much as Yoda said, make sure your network is open for Slingbox. Do you maybe have more than 1 network running? ie is your modem also a router?  Is everything plugged in and turned on? Are the lights on your slinbox coming on? You should see 2 lights on the front to show power and that it's connected.

Slingbox ProHD Slinging DirecTV HR23 and OTA HD via Comcast HSI using AirLink Powerline adapters; Slingbox Pro and Classic Slinging and D* HR21/D12 via Sunddenlink HSI, using Linksys Gaming adapter. 2 Slingcatchers set up to use Slings.

Thank you for the response guys. Wired! Im not sure. I am running my SB5120 for my high speed internet service, Cox Communications and I have Direct TV as my TV provider. Could that be an issue? I am using the Motorola 5120 modem. I have it hooked up directly to the DI-624 wireless router. Im not sure how to find the confinguration setting on it. Any suggestions. Also both lights are on-on the Slingbox and plugged in correctly. Guys I am curious about the "more than 1 network" issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Guys I have more info if this subject to make things a little clearer! If I am using Cox Communications as my internet provider (cable modem) and using Direct TV for my television service is there away for this to be possible or do I need to have Cox Communications cable television source or Direct TV high speed internet?

nono Your tv and isp providers are fine.

You only have 1 network based on your equipment/description.

You need to enter the dlinks configuration page by accessting this address from your web broswer:

192.168.1.1

For more information on setup, you must consult your user manual for the dlink router.

I have the same problem too, what I did, I unhook the slingbox pro from the router and push the reset button located at the back, beside the power plug of the box, and restart all over again, I even remove the program from my computer and reload it again. It worked
