My son is slinging to me ( I live in Spain ) from his slingbox av in California. We both have plenty of band width (Internet speed),and everything works fine, but I would like to be able to controll the color and contrast.Does anyone have any idea as how to do this?I would think there would be a way but I sure can't find one.My slingbox is connected to a seperate cable box,not the one he uses on his tv that is in use.

You can change those settings during the AV setup.

Slinging Tivo HD from a Pro HD, Tivo Series 2 with cable and DirecTV from a Pro, Tivo HD from a Solo, Humax DRT800 from a Classic to Sprint Mogul, Dell Inspiron 8600 with Sprint EVDO, and a SlingCatcher over Windstream DSL.

Thanks for the reply ryandh. My son set theS/B up at his house in California, and i downloaded the software off the web site onto my computer here in Spain.I hod hoped there was a way to change those settings with the on screen remote as needed (just like on a TV).You would think they would have that feature on there. As you can see,I am really new at this slingbox thing.I guess I will have my son call the technical help from there.I appreicate you telling me that at least there is a way. Thanks again.

You can change these settings through the SlingPlayer software, but not with the onscreen remote.  In SlingPlayer, click on Slingbox, then Properties.  Go to the Slingbox Configuration tab and click on the Audio/Video Setup Change button.  As long as you have the administrator password you can change the settings you want.
