I like the new look - and like it more the more I wander around.
I am wondering if a forum centered on Recording issues might be appropriate. Though Sling does not support the At-Large Recorder or the open source material being provided by CheckSumCoder, a great many of us do use these tools. Sling does support recording using TIVO or a DVR to time shift over-the-air material. Also, the new SlingCatcher is due to be released within a few weeks.
By providing a single place for questions and comments related to these technologies, it may reduce the number of parallel threads being started in multiple forums.

It's a good suggestion. Couple of thoughts though:
1. We do have a category for TiVos and DVRs. Could be TiVos, DVRs, and Timeshifting?
2. We have a category for Clip+Sling and Online Video. May be a good compromise to adding another category would be to call it Clip+Sling, Online Video, and Recording?
What do you think of those?

Makes sense - though I may be missing something (I do not own TIVO), I don't see a natural division here.
Another way to divide these would include a forum that focuses on recording technologies (Sling+Clip, TIVO, At-Large Recorder, etc.), another on playback technologies (DVD, S-Video, Sling.com, etc.), and another on recorded content (what did I record).

Matt has seen my proposal before. Personally, I like fewer boards. Way fewer. I'd probably just make the categories boards, add a General, and forget all of the sub-categories.
