Categories: PRO Connectivity and the Internet
I have my SB Pro installed in Taiwan to allow my family's viewing of Chinese programming here in Washington DC. While I experienced the "optimizing" freeze mentioned by other in this forum on occassions, I could disconnect and connect to start a new session, which seemed to overcome the freeze, at least temporarily. Given the benefits of SB, the intermittent disruption was a nuisance but a tolerable one. Lately I encountered another connection problem:
On multiple occasions, my attempt to start a SB session would end with the "Operation failed. 0x93260001 error." message. As I watching the info messages flash in the SlingPlayer box, I could see it "connected" but dropped out immediately with the "Connecting..." message until it turned into the error message.
What I found curious is that this connection problem appears to be more persistent during the morning period in EST. More often than not, I am able to start a SB session at night. This suggests to me that the cause lies somewhere else besides the SB configuration.
Interested in knowing if anyone else experiences a similar problem. I would appreciate any insight anyone might have. Sure like to find a way to fix this SB headache.
