I'm visiting my brother from out of town and don't have my laptop with me. I was wanting to watch the satellite at home and wondered if it's possible to install the Sling software on his computer and connect remotely with the direct Sling address (the Slingbox at home was set up long ago for remote viewing). Possible to do this?

That's the whole idea.  You own it so you can watch it from anyplace you wish.  Now when you leave your brothers house you should delete the software....   wink...  wink...

Why, of course!

I figured that to be the case, but since I almost always have my laptop with me, I've never had to worry about it.  All I could remember were various "you must set up for remote viewing first on the network" stuff from when I bought it last year.  Not having messed with any setup for such a long time, I've become confused and rusty. :p
