Hi -

My Slingbox was working fine with my older cable box. I just got an upgrade, to the Comcast Tivo, which is using the Motorola DCH3416 box.

 In trying to re setup the Slingbox, I can't choose a Remote Control that will work.

I can select a Motorola box, which will work via IR, but it will give me a picture of the older virtual remote, which does not include any Tivo functions.

If I select a Tivo box (and I've tried them all), it won't function over IR.

Anyone sovle this yet?

They will probably need to create a new remote.  Have you tried any motorola DVRs to see if they work?

It does pseudo-work with the same model Motorola cable box/DVR, under the Motorola section (Comcast also has that box as a  DVR, without the Tivo software) - but it give you the old remote...

Because of this, you can't even use the basic dvr functionality (i.e no "Tivo" button)

I called Sling, and they suggested switching to the motorola DCH3412 which is under "Cable Box" not DVR. The Tivo functions are operational.

Also, please fill in the survey. The more people that go to the link, the more likely they are to add the actual remote for this box.

I control all of my AV equipment with harmony 890s. Is there an easy way to simply transfer or configure the IR functions I have in my 890 to my virtual remote for my slingbox. I have read the articles on programming virtual remotes but have not had much success.
