Has anyone had any experience with any PC remotes that can be used to control functions on an XP system?

I'm looking for something where I can program buttons for chanup/chandown, numbers, mute,  and other shortcuts inside slingplayer.  There are lots of presentation remotes on eBay, but I'm hoping someone might have a recommendation for me so I dont waste money on something that won't work.

I use my SlingBox Classic to watch TV while I'm trying to fall asleep, and it would be really useful to have a remote so I didnt have to get up and do the channel-flipping manually.  Ive thought about a wireless keyboard, but those are a little too large to fit in the headboard.

I'm using the HP MCE remote - works 100%.

Darn, that one is for Vista only, and the ones marked for XP (by HP) on eBay dont come with a reciever.

I'm using work's laptop, so I cant upgrade the OS.  I'll have to keep looking.  Thanks

On a slightly different track, I operate slingplayer from my laptop, which has a wireless laser mouse. I use the mouse just like a remote control – it would be nice to be able to use the mouse wheel to change volume, but aside from that, the mouse does most things that a ‘proper’ remote control would do (and is more user-friendly, as you don’t need to take your eyes off the screen to operate it) .
