I have a Slingbox classic running off the svideo on my Directv HR-20 DVR. I mostly watch on my Palm Centro, Small Window on my PC, full screen in my PC in the basement (17" CRT) when I am working out.
I am upgrading some things on my network. I was thinking about getting a new slingbox (Slingbox AV or Slingbox Solo). I understand that the newer box would give me 640x480 vs 640x240. Also, probably clearer picture due to higher bandwidth on my lan. WAN would be about the same.
Anyone know if it is worthwhile getting the Solo for the Component inputs vs. AV?
Should I bother doing this, or should I wait for the Pro HD or something else new? Not really sure if I'll notice anything different with a new box.

Arizona, United StatesYpu will notice a nice difference on the LAN with the new boxes, faster speeds and 640x480, on your PC.
Whether you should wait for a PRO-HD, that is the question. probably just boils down to how much you are willing to pay.
